Ohio State Treasurer Robert Sprague has announced a program called Ohio Homebuyer Plus, which is offering above-market interest rates specifically for specialty, tax-advantaged savings accounts used to purchase a home, either in down payment or closing costs. Ohio residents aged 18 and up purchasing a home as their primary residence may qualify for the program.
